OUR PROCESS
-
01
Site Assessment & Quote
We visit the site, assess scope and hazards, and provide a detailed written quote at no charge.
-
02
Pre-Demolition Requirements
We manage service disconnections (electricity, gas, water, telco), neighbour notifications and council documentation.
-
03
Hazard & Asbestos Check
A pre-demolition asbestos survey is completed. If asbestos is identified, our licensed team removes it before demolition begins.
-
04
Demolition
Controlled demolition using the appropriate machinery for the structure size, with dust suppression and site safety measures throughout.
-
05
Waste Sorting & Recycling
Materials are sorted on site. Up to 80% of demolition waste is recycled including steel, timber, concrete and brick.
-
06
Site Handover
The site is left clean and level, ready for your next phase. A completion report is provided on request.
ASBESTOS REMOVAL
ACE Asbestos & Demolition holds a full asbestos removal licence and operates in full compliance with WorkSafe Queensland and EPA requirements. We safely remove both friable and non-friable asbestos from residential, commercial and industrial properties across South East Queensland.
Asbestos was commonly used in Australian buildings constructed before the 2000s. If your property was built before this date it is likely to contain asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). ACE Asbestos & Demolition can identify, contain and remove ACMs safely — whether you’re renovating, demolishing or simply need peace of mind.
TYPES OF ASBESTOS
Friable Asbestos
Loose, crumbling or powdery asbestos that can be crushed by hand pressure. Considered high-risk due to easy fibre release. Requires a Class A licence to remove.
Non-Friable (Bonded) Asbestos
Asbestos fibres bound within a solid matrix such as cement sheeting, floor tiles or roofing. Lower risk when intact, but must still be removed and disposed of by a licensed contractor.
COMMON LOCATIONS
- Fibrous cement wall and soffit sheeting (villaboard, hardiflex)
- Corrugated roof sheeting and guttering
- Vinyl floor tiles and backing
- Pipe lagging and duct insulation
- Textured ceiling coatings (popcorn ceilings)
- Backing boards behind stoves and heaters
- Fencing and external cladding panels
- Eaves lining and fascia boards
OUR PROCESS
-
01
Site Assessment & Identification
We inspect the property and identify all asbestos-containing materials. A written scope of works is provided before any removal begins.
-
02
Containment & Site Preparation
The work area is contained with plastic sheeting and negative air pressure equipment where required. Site signage and exclusion zones are established.
-
03
Safe Removal
All ACMs are carefully removed using wet methods to suppress fibre release. Our crew wear full PPE including respirators, disposable suits and gloves.
-
04
Licensed Disposal
Removed materials are double-bagged, labelled and transported to an EPA-approved disposal facility. We provide disposal documentation on request.
-
05
Post-Removal Air Monitoring
After removal, independent air monitoring is conducted to confirm fibre levels are within safe limits before the site is cleared for re-entry.
-
06
Clearance Certificate
A clearance certificate is issued on completion — the documentation your builder, certifier, insurer or council needs to proceed.
SITE CLEARING
Once demolition is complete — or if you’re starting with a raw block — ACE Asbestos & Demolition prepares your site for the next stage of your project. From vegetation clearing and earthworks through to services infrastructure, we leave you with a clean, level, builder-ready site.

SOIL REGENERATION
ACE Asbestos & Demolition offers professional soil regeneration services to restore and rehabilitate land following demolition, excavation or long-term degradation. We work with homeowners, developers and land managers to bring soil back to a healthy, productive condition ready for landscaping, agriculture or further development.
Demolition and construction activity can leave soil compacted, contaminated or stripped of its natural structure and nutrients. Our soil regeneration process addresses these issues systematically — removing contaminants, improving structure, restoring organic matter and preparing the ground for its intended next use.
WHAT WE OFFER
Topsoil Supply & Spreading
Supply and even distribution of quality topsoil to restore depth and structure to stripped or degraded ground.
Soil Decompaction
Deep ripping and aeration of compacted ground to restore drainage and allow root penetration for plants and turf.
Debris & Contamination Removal
Removal of construction rubble, waste materials and contaminated soil to clean the ground to a safe standard.
Organic Matter Incorporation
Working compost, mulch and organic amendments into the soil profile to restore biological activity and fertility.
Grading & Levelling
Final grading of treated areas to achieve even, workable levels ready for turf, planting or further construction.
Erosion Control
Installation of erosion control measures including mulching and ground cover to stabilise disturbed soil during and after works.
OUR PROCESS

Construction waste, rubble and any contaminated material is removed and disposed of at an approved facility before treatment begins.
-
03
Decompaction & Aeration
